Claiming and Withdrawing ATH

  1. Rewards Tab: Navigate to the "Rewards" tab in the Aethir Edge App. Here, you'll see your "Locked ATH Balance" (the portion of your rewards still subject to the vesting schedule) and your "ATH Ready to Claim" (the portion of your rewards available for immediate withdrawal).

  2. Claim Rewards: Press the "Claim" button to initiate the claim process for your available rewards. If you haven't completed the KYC verification, you'll be prompted to do so at this stage.

  3. Understanding the Vesting Schedule: The ATH you earn on a daily basis is subject to a vesting schedule, which means that only a portion of your rewards becomes available immediately, while the rest is released gradually over time. The vesting schedule is as follows:

    • 30% of the ATH your Edge device mines each day is claimable immediately

    • 30% becomes available after 90 days

    • 40% becomes available after 180 days

Example: If your Edge earns 100 ATH today, you'll have 30 ATH available for immediate claiming, another 30 ATH will become available after 90 days, and the remaining 40 ATH will be accessible after 180 days. This vesting process happens automatically as ATH tokens are mined each day.

  4. Withdrawals: Once you hit "Claim," your rewards will be sent to your app-embedded wallet, which takes about 7 days. After the 7 day period has passed, you use the "Withdraw" button to transfer your claimed ATH from the Edge app to an external wallet.

    • Important: You must withdraw your claimed rewards before you can perform other staking actions within the app, such as unstaking or restaking.

    • Withdrawals are processed in order, and any amounts that are still vesting will have greyed-out buttons, indicating that they are not yet available for withdrawal.

  5. Insufficient Funds and Transaction Failures:

    • If you have insufficient funds in your app wallet to cover the gas fees for a withdrawal, an error message will appear with suggestions on how to acquire more ATH or ETH.

    • If a transaction fails for any reason, an error message will provide details about the issue and suggest possible solutions. You can retry the transaction once the problem is resolved.
